EDGE&TA /INSURANCE UPDATE 3/28/03

Insurance for 2003 has been 90% completed. The following are what is fact:

The cost per member will be $4.80.

After April 15th Ruth Warnock, EDGE&TA secretary will be reimbursing, branches $1.70 for each member submitted and paid for at the $6.50 charge.

New members will be covered upon being listed on the branch roster and issued an EDGE&TA membership card for the current year.

Reporting of additional membership will continue to be every 30 days or in accordance with the following schedule to the EDGE&TA office: 15 July, 15 October, 15 January, 15 April. It will be your choice of which way you want to report you new members.

Event reporting must include the DATES and LOCATION of the event and NAME of the event.

All branches must report their events to Dick Tombrink by email, snail mail, or fax. NO PHONE CALLS. Events can be reported up to 24 hours prior to the event. Any event reported with a date after the event will not have been covered.

Additional insured for CA Fair Board should be in place by about April 3.

Anyone else requiring additional insured certificate must send a request to Dick Tombrink 30 days before the additional insured certificate is required. This request must include the following:

Date(s) of the event, location of the event and the name of the person or organization that is requesting the additional insured certificate.

There will be no cost for additional insured certificate.

Barrel Rides and People Movers: Currently if these are to be covered you must request additional coverage. Make all requests to Dick Tombrink.

Cost is unknown as of this date.

D&O Insurance:

Participant Accident Coverage:

Information is not available at this time.

As you can see, there are still a couple of items that we do not know the outcome of as of yet. We will let everyone know just as soon as we know.
