Branch 26 Early Day Gas Engine & Tractor Association 25th Mid-Winter Gas-Up will host a National Show April 11-13, 2008 at SKAGIT COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS in Mt.Vernon. A flyer and map are available on the EDGETA web site under Branch 26.

The dates selected will correspond with the 25th Tulip Festival known across USA There will be 1000’s of acres in full bloom and spectacular color during the time of our show.

The Fairgrounds has 20-25 full hook up camping sites (water & electricity) available for $16 /night. 50 dry camping sites are available at $12/night. If you wish to reserve a camping spot, I would suggest you contact the Skagit County Fairgrounds (mail or phone)

1419 Virginia Street, Mt Vernon, WA 98273, 360-336-9453. For those of you wishing to stay in a hotel, we will be arranging with a local facility to offer a discount for participants.  List of motels.

An 1867 Otto-Langen Atmospheric Engine will be on display and operating. Otto-Langen engines were build between 1864 & 1882 and only 3 operating engines remain in the US. The engine at our National Show is a ¾ scale operating engine. This is a MUST SEE.

There will be a large covered area for all engine displays - Branch 26 will provide roped areas within the covered area for participants. Outside areas will also be available depending on the weather. Engines prior to 1910 are featured however, all age and make engines are encouraged to join the activities.

John Deere is the featured tractor. All colors of tractors are welcome.

For Model Builders a covered building area will be provided. Model builders should bring a table for display as you do at most shows.

Keep these dates open - come enjoy and participate in the Last National in the Northwest for 50 years. Need additional info?
